A versatile laser cut micro-layout / diorama MDF baseboard which can be used as a standalone baseboard or as an extension to our BB018 baseboard. Ideal for building a wide variety of dioramas and layouts. Suitable for all types and scales of military, aviation and road transport modelling, as well as small scale model railway layouts in OO, N & OO9 gauges. These baseboards are very easy to build, taking just 5 to 10 minutes to assemble. No tools required, just a little wood glue. Base plinth has a 40mm high space underneath the entire baseboard for mounting point motors, batteries and other electronic modules if required.

Two of these baseboards will fit perfectly inside a Really Useful 22 litre box for portability and easy storage when not in use.

Fixings and spacers to join the two boards are included.

Very quick and easy to assemle.

I decided I needed another BB023 to use as a fiddle yard for my Triang 00 layout so I ordered one, standard delivery arrived right when it was supposed to and well packed. All parts fitted perfectly although some small assistance from a hammer was required (I use a soft faced one to avoid damaging the surfaces). The whole task took under half an hour including the unpacking and as these boards are quite small can be dome at a kitchen table, desk etc., very convenient for "modern living"! If fits perfectly with the existing boards I have, now I just need to finalise my track plan and cut some holes in the end of one of the other boards for stock to pass through and to attach the fiddle yard. All very simple!
