Product Description

Looking to build a larger layout and need an off-the-shelf modular baseboard solution? Our BB030 offers flexibilty in terms of configuration, whether you're building a long, end to end layout, a larger rectangular table-top layout or need baseboards to run around the perimeter of the room.

Ideal for building a wide variety of dioramas and layouts. Suitable for all types and scales of military, aviation and road transport modelling, as well as small scale model railway layouts in OO scale, N and OO9 gauge and slot car / Scalextric race tracks.

These baseboards are very easy to build, taking just a few minutes to assemble. No tools required (other than possibly a mallet or hammer just to tap any tight parts snugly into place), just a little wood glue and you're done. Base plinth has a 80mm high space underneath the entire baseboard for mounting motors, batteries and other electronic modules if required.

Ease of assembly

Went together really easily in about 10 minutes to make a sturdy base. Could I suggest half size versions at 600 by 220 and 300 by 440? I could use one of each.

Easy to assemble in minutes.

Brilliant design and you can use for any scale by simply add modules including fiddle yards. I am using two modules for new scale TT-120 layout. No nails, screws to assemble them. Only PVA glue is all you need and only a mallet with wood block to snap them together. Highly recommended for those who hate sawing. Just assemble like Lego bricks snap shut.

A very nice well packeaged product, easy to build, but, you will find that, the parts fit very snugly together and as such i found that all you need to glue up is to put a fillet of glue around the joints when assembled, will not be going anywhere soon lol lol, ideal for test and for dio`s for building displays.
