A versatile laser cut micro-layout / diorama MDF baseboard, ideal for building a wide variety of dioramas and layouts, and perfectly sized to fit in an Ikea Billy Bookcase.

Measuring 738mm wide x 260mm high and 250mm deep it'll sit perfectly on a standard width Ikea Billy Bookcase with a little room all round for cables and to get your hands in to remove it from the shelf when needed.

Suitable for all types and scales of military, aviation and road transport modelling, as well as small scale model railway layouts in OO, N & OO9 gauges. These baseboards are very easy to build, taking just 5 to 10 minutes to assemble. No tools required, just a little wood glue. Base plinth has a 40mm high space underneath the entire baseboard for mounting point motors, batteries and other electronic modules if required.

Fixings and spacers to join the two boards are included.

Quick and easy

The simple way it locks together to form a strong baseboard. Using a strong glue I've no doubt that it will last along time for various layouts.
