New OO Gauge Platform Surface Texture For Steam Era Modellers

We had a chap (John) pop into HQ last week asking about a particular platform surface texture. I can't remember exactly the location he was modelling as I've slept since then and my brain has reset, but the surface he needed was basically our TX228-OO Concrete Slabbed Platform With Standard Concrete Coping, but without the white line. So, we've done a bit of editing… et voila!

Preiser OO/HO Scale Figure Packs

I know some of you are still on the fence regarding using HO scale figures on a OO scale layout, but personally I think if they're used carefully, they can really make a OO scale layout pop! Animals particularly work a treat and give you much more variety than are available in actual OO scale. Plus most of the ones we stock are all pre-painted so they add an instant splash of colour and life to any layout or diorama. Read more about the differences between HO and OO scale here.
