The best idea for placing figures

originally I used clear plastic to make the figures stand up by gluing them to the plastic, but it can be plainly seen theat the figures are on a base, very unrealistic, but tacky removes all of the gluing and looking inferior, you just put a dap on the feet of the figure and it will stand in the place you put it, if your not you mave it around easily, and no unsightly base on the fugures makes them seamlessly blend into the scene looking much more realistic.
