Product Description

Deluxe Materials Ballast Bond Liquid Adhesive, is a quick and easy solution for gluing railway ballast and scatters. Ballast Bond ballast glue is ready to use straight from the bottle, with no mixing or mess. Rapid spreading. Clear matt finish. Super thin, ready mixed adhesive for bonding scenic granular materials e.g. model railroad ballast, coal and other scale modelling landscape products. Low viscosity and capillary action ensures rapid, efficient spreading with fast drying and minimal disturbance to the ballast scene.
Instructions: Position ballast or scatter to track or scene. Gently apply Ballast Bond from bottle. Fine are available separately to aid application. Adjust if required. Allow to dry.
Contents :100 ml covers 3.5sq ft (0.35 sq metre)

Ballast bond.

This product does not like light weight ballast, it draws it all in leaving gaps in what has just been laid and tends to set in blocks and not flat as expected, very disappointed.

Sorry to hear that Trevor. Our results with real stone ballast have always been great. I'll have to experiment with lightweight ballast and see what happens.
