A laser cut kit to build a single Low Relief Terraced Shop of the design shown in the photo but with a 6mm additional depth to the base to enable the shops to be used on a hill / incline. Our mix and match Terraced Shops enable you to build a unique high street for your layout and can be used as standalone kits, or positioned next to each other to create a terraced row of shops. From Tea Rooms to Butchers, Grocers to Accountants, we have all you need to create a unique high street. This particular model is for Road / Pavement level use. If you wish to build a row of shops running up a hill, we recommend LX359-OO which has a 6mm additional foundation at the base of the building to accommodate the incline.

The kit is easy to assemble with the shop front, doors & windows being assembled from a series of simple layers. The shop building itself is assembled from laser cut MDF components with slot & tab construction. The buildings can be wrapped using brick paper (a sheet of TX198-OO Red Brick and a sheet of TX220-OO Old Stone is included with the kit), covered with Plasticard or even modelling clay and scribed to create a completely unique building. Alternatively if you're spraying / painting the building in a flat colour as per our prototype above, we highly recommend filling and sanding the slot and tab joints prior to painting to give a superior finish.

There is also the option to assemble one of the sash windows in an open position. Also included is a sheet of TX184-OO Mixed Grey Roof Slates.

Each shop comes complete with unique signage (which you can choose from the 26 options below), and a detailed, printed glazing sheet. Previews of the signage will be added to the website shortly. Please choose carefully as you will only receive glazing & signage for each of your chosen shop types. There's also plenty of scope for you to go to town and add your own interiors too!

Each kit builds one shop front and are supplied unpainted. For painting we recommend spray or brushed acrylic paints. For the prototype build we sprayed the laserboard sheet with maroon Plastikote spray prior to cutting out the parts and assembling.
