A test of skill, but good value
This wall kit comes with all the suitable parts required to make a decent length of either double sided or single sided wall. The kit instructions are easy to follow and everything marries up to the supplied instructions.
The kit can make a convincing 3D effect victorian wall, but it does test your modelling skills. If you enjoy spending hours taking time over building kits, this is the wall solution for you. If you are not keen on spending many hours on it, then this isn't the kit for you. In totalit took me about 15 to 20 hours of work to complete the walls. My modelling skills won't win me any awards, but I felt that the amount of time it took did not feel like a good tradeoff.
There are flaps where you need to cut or score, then fold and glue them down. This is most fiddly, and is an absolute devil to just get spot on. That being said, if you take your time and you have precision cutting skills, this will not be a problem.
Rated the product 4 stars, as everything that's needed in the kit, is in there. And you can make a fair length section of single, or double, sided wall. For the price point, it seems to be reasonable. If you were to get a resin, or 3D printed quivalent, it would cost more overall, especially where paints may be concerned. The kit goes together well, providing you have good skill. The last star isn't awarded as there is no particular advisory note on the website to say you may need more advanced modelling skill.
Overall I think it is a very good product on sale and it does hold up against other contemporary card kit manufacturers.
