Product Description

A laser cut kit to build a single Low Relief Terraced Cottage which can be used on its own or as part of a terrace. Makes the perfect accompaniment to our KX069-OO Period Terraced Shop Kit. This particular model is for Road / Pavement level use and can be painted and detailed to have either a modern day or period appearance.

The kit is easy to assemble with the doors & windows being assembled from a series of simple layers, however, tweezers are recommended to handle some of the small parts.

The cottage building itself is assembled from laser cut MDF components with slot & tab construction. The kit is supplied with both red brick and stone wraps in both left & right-hand configuration so you can choose which side to site the front door.

Also included are pre-weathered roof slates which make completing the roof a breeze!

The windows doors and some other details are supplied unpainted. For painting we recommend spray or brushed acrylic paints. For the prototype build we sprayed the laserboard sheet with maroon Plastikote spray prior to cutting out the parts and assembling.

Good looking building

An east to construct house, I didn't use the wraps preferring cladding the building with stone plastic card, shame a chimney stack isn't included!

Low Relief Terraced House / Cottage

Easy construction and with options to change the final appearance. I liked the shops that are matched to this design. With the shops you are supplied with sheets of brickwork, stone and roofing tiles but here you have pieces printed to size which I found less-forgiving if you made a mistake. Also with the sheets you were left with pieces that you could scratch-build the odd shed or wall.
