Product Description

Based on a pair of real cottages not far from our HQ in Cornwall, these stone built cottages have that quintessentialy English feel... you can easily imagine entering the cosy living room through the front door, ducking to avoid the low, beamed ceiling. The roaring open fire and the smell of freshly baked scones coming from the kitchen!

This kit has lots of scope for kit-bashing too and is supplied with a choice of brick & white painted stone paper wraps for the walls plus laser-cut pre-weathered roof slates. We've also added super-realistic sash windows & wooden doors so you can really go to town customising this kit to fit perfectly into your layout.

Doors, window frames, guttering and chimeny tops require painting before the kit is assembled which can be done with solvent or acrylic based paints. We actually used a black Sharpie to colour the guttering on our prototype and it works a treat.

Superbly engineered laser cut kit.

A wonderful kit to build, millimetre-perfect every which-way. I bought two, and put my own exterior finish slant on one of them. Further order already in for different buildings and accessories. Justin, Tina and the whole team deserve every success - thank you one & all.

Excellent kit

Easy to put together with two versions to wrap around your building widows are straight for ward to assemble and nice tight fit so have to be careful not to damage them the end result is a lovely cottage to grace your layout

The instructions are clear and you can alter the item to make it individual. It is relatively easy to make, if you read the instructions and take your time.

Dylington" Workers Cottages

Its a well made and complete kit. I have not completed the build yet as railway modelling is a winter hobby in Canada, but when complete it will make be country cottages in a small village very similar to my grand-parents home in Worcestershire where I was born.
