The perfect kit for creating a barrow crossing or foot crossing on your layout that has been assembled using recycled sleepers. Manufactured from the highest quality basswood, which has been engraved & detailed using our laser cutter. Features rail chair indentations and bolt holes, plus we've carefully engraved away the upper surface of the wood to give a weathered finish. To install, simply cut the sleeper strips into the lengths required using a sharp craft knife. As the sleepers are supplied in strips you can easily create the perfect barrow crossing to suit your layout by simply trimming them to length as required. Paint or weather with your chosen shades (real wood stains can be used on these)  then glue into place on your track, then apply ballast, weeds and grass around the crossing as required. The picture shows the kit unpainted.

• Foot / barrow crossings at the end of a platform to allow passengers to get from one platform to another on a smaller halt or station
• Foot crossing close to a signal box to enable the signalman to collect tokens easily from a passing train
• Walkways outside a busy engine shed
