A kit to build 2 laser cut half-width straight platform sections to add additional depth to your platforms on your OO gauge model railway layout. Platforms are supplied as plain MDF & card kits, and are designed to be used with our Platform Surface Texture Sheets & Platform Wall Texture Packs (sold separately), enabling you to build a completely unique platform for your layout. Alternatively the card top layer can be replaced with our laser cut platform coping & engraved slab sheets.

This platform extension is designed to add extra depth to our other straight platforms to accommodate station buildings, booking halls and larger waiting rooms etc and are very easy to assemble. Each platform section also comes with 4 clips to securely fix it to adjacent platform sections. The platform base braces also feature holes through which wiring for platform and station building lighting can be neatly fed.

Our mix and match platform system comprises of over 20 different platform surfaces with a variety of coping/edging plus a choice of 7 platform wall wraps, along with a choice of 12 different platform sections.

Supplied as an unpainted, un-assembled kit. You will need suitable glue such as Deluxe Materials Laser Cut Kit Glue and UHU, craft knife, cutting mat & steel ruler.

Full instructions showing the techniques for wrapping the platforms with texture papers are included with all platform sections.
