Product Description

A laser cut kit to build a single Shop Front of the design shown in the photo. Suitable for use when scratch-building period shops & retail outlets for your model railway layout or diecast dioramas. For modern image shop fronts please see our alternative product here.

The shop fronts are very easy to assemble from a series of simple layers. Each shop front comes complete with a selection of printed signage for everything from a shoe shop to an ironmongers and can be easily glazed using the cellophane packaging supplied with the kit.

Each kit builds one shop front and is supplied unpainted. For painting we recommend spray or brushed acrylic paints. For the prototype build we sprayed the laserboard sheet with maroon Plastikote spray prior to cutting out the parts and assembling.
