Product Description

The perfect finishing touch to your layout. Your very own layout name plaque in the style of a modern image BR station sign, with the familiar double arrow logo & your layout name (or your own name) in the BR Railway font! Perfect for railway enthusiasts young & old. Ideal for door name plaques too. Laser cut from 4mm MDF and measuring 228mm x 228mm (9" x 9"). Supplied as an unpainted, self assembly kit. Please specify the name you would like for your layout in the Order Notes box at the checkout. Very easy to assemble, with positions clearly marked for each letter. Can be painted with enamels, emulsion, acrylic or gloss paints.

Thanks for the very fast delivery. A quick spray of the parts with black and white car primer, and some red Tamiya spray paint, and it is ready for gluing together. I like that the lettering is also outlined on the backing board, so positioning the letters will be easy to get right. Our layout has quite a long name, so I suppose we got better value than 'Ore', 'Ash', 'Ayr' or 'Wye'. Perhaps I should have gone for 'Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch'?

A perfect personalised gift, even if it is not to put on a layout. The Man Cave would look great with one of these on the door too! 5 Stars!
