The NOCH Rock Forming System makes creating realistic rock faces & cliffs quick and simple. The new range consists of six different rock moulds with the overall dimensions of 24 x 12 cm, and each one having a series of unique rock formations.

NOCH PROFI Casting Compound has been developed specially for use with this new range of moulds and enables you to create deceptively realistic boulders, rock faces and formations quickly and easily, taking all the hard work out of sculpting regular plaster or layering up countless amounts of tissue paper etc.

Whether you want to design a mountain range or simple train embankment with individual rocks, the NOCH Rock Forming System offers the perfect solution: From just one single form you can duplicate the rocks with the NOCH PROFI Casting Compound, with almost no limits. This makes the casting of rocks particularly cost-effective and perfectly suitable for the creation of larger rocky terrains. 

A special inner coating in the casting moulds ensures easy release of your rocks after hardening, reducing the risk of breakages and damage. The packaging of the rock formers is also designed to be used as a stable casting frame. For stabilization, this frame is put under the rock former to provide support during casting with PROFI Casting Compound.

NOCH PROFI Casting Compound is easily prepared with 3 parts of water and 1 part compound, then poured into the mould without any bubbling, offering a high degree of stability. It hardens white in colour, which makes it the perfect material for self-cast rocks, which are coloured afterwards with our NOCH Nature Paints.

1kg of PROFI Casting Compound results in approximately 800 ml of pourable casting compound. The table below gives a rough guide as to the filling volume of each of the moulds, enabling you to calculate how much moulding compound you need:
