Product Description

Our laser cut OO Gauge Model Railway Incline Supports take the hard work out of building an incline. With a number of options available, you'll have everything you need to build up to a 4% inclines and high level track beds.

Each pier simply slots together (they're quite tight so don't necessarily need gluing, but we would recommend a little wood glue or SuperPhatic).

Options include:

  • Set of 8 incline supports (10mm, 20mm, 30mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, 70mm & 80mm)
  • Set of 3 additional piers to go up to 100mm
  • Set of 4 high level piers for elevated trackbeds (100mm)
  • Flexible 4mm trackbed for Radius 2 curves and higher

Our flexible trackbed is cut from 4mm MDF and is horizontally flexible enough to make a track bed with a radius as tight as a Radius 2 curve (438mm radius) and is sold in 420mm sections. This is designed to be glued or screwed to our incline support piers. As it's flexible, you may need to support the trackbed in between the main incline support piers. This can be done easily with cardboard etc.

Once your incline is all fixed into place, we recommend testing it with loose laid track, then landscaping with Mod Roc etc before fixing your track into place and ballasting.

If you wish to use Peco Track Pins or similar, we recommend drilling a small pilot hole with a Dremel or similar before tapping the track pins into place.
