Rubberised horsehair makes creating realistic bushes, brambles, tree canopies and hedges for your model railway layouts and dioramas a breeze. A very versatile material that lends itself to scruffy, unkempt hedges & bushes like those you find along the sides of roads, railway tracks and bridleways.

It can be easily shaped, trimmed using scissors or teased into a variety of shapes with your hands, then painted (if desired), before coating with leaves or fine tree foliage.

4 Steps to the perfect model hedge using rubberised horsehair:

1. Cut a chunk of rubberised horse hair to size using scissors, or by teasing into shape with your fingers.
2. Spray with a dark brown or grey to give it a woody/bark appearance for the main stems then allow to dry.
3. Spray the area of the hedge or bush with a suitable spray glue (Deluxe Materials Scenic Spray Glue).
4. Sprinkle with your chosen flock, tree foliage or leaves. Use a mixture of shades and textures to add interest and variation to your hedge. Not all hedges are uniform in shape, size or colour.
