Extend your BB017 or BB029 based micro-layout with our new BB021 Centre Extension Board.

Our versatile laser cut micro-layout / diorama MDF baseboards, as used by Phil Parker on the Didsbury Green layout as featured in BRM magazine are an ideal base for building a wide variety of dioramas and layouts in a small space. Suitable for all types and scales of military, aviation and road transport modelling, as well as small scale model railway layouts in OO scale, N and OO9 gauge.

These baseboards are very easy to build, taking just 5 to 10 minutes to assemble. No tools required, just a little wood glue. Base plinth has a 46mm high space underneath the entire baseboard for mounting motors, batteries and other electronic modules if required.

Too high, not wide enough. Rethink the concept and offer baseboards that fit sideways in the box.

robust construction and lightweight

The centre extension fits perfectly with the BB017 baseboard as if the two products were in fact one. Construction takes 5 minutes and the B21 blends perfectly as if it was always meant to be there. great product that really enhances the BB017 potential for a model railway.

Easy to assemble into a sturdy baseboard.

As a bit of a maladroi, to find a product that can be erected in minutes without resort to the toolbox is a sheer delight. The finished board seems to be pretty well bomb proof.
