A pack of 32 laser cut, detailed, paper model fern/bracken plants for detailing embankments, grass verges, woodland & countryside scenes on your OO gauge model railway layouts & 1/76 scale diecast dioramas. Available in a choice of Summer Green or Autumn Brown. For a unique and super-realistic appearance, we recommend mixing the colours, particularly if you're modelling early autumn to simulate the period when the bracken starts to die off and turn brown.

Simply shape the plant with tweezers or a similar pointed tool, like a cocktail stick and apply a small blob of glue to your baseboard. Use the tip of a craft knife blade to carefully lift the plant into place. Coming in two different colours, you can add variation in your foliage, taking the realism another step up.

Bracken & ferns tend to grow in groups. Typical locations include areas such as forests, heathland, and the edge of moorlands, on slopes. These locations can contain quite a widespread amount of ferns and bracken. Luckily, this bracken comes in a pack of 32 so you will be able to make quite a few groups which no supply shortage.

Perfect For Customisation

Due to the model being made from matt paper adding even further variety is simple, the bracken/fern can be weathered by dry brushing a little brown or green paint after planting them on your layout. Or alternatively, apply a little brown or green weathering powder.
