LX096-N Concrete Hardstanding Kit N/2mm/1:148

The quickest and easiest way to install realistic concrete hardstanding on your N gauge model railway layout. Perfect for maintenance depots, engine sheds, distribution depots and more. This kit comprises of a series of laser-cut MDF & Laserboard parts that can be quickly and easily layered, then wrapped with pre-printed concrete paper texture sheets. Our kits are designed to sit perfectly between and over the sleepers on Peco N gauge set track, and Streamline track, giving the appearance of the rails being embedded into the concrete. The outer sections sit snugly up to the rails and over the chairs giving a very realistic appearance straight from the pack. Also included are two A4 sheets of realistic, weathered concrete hardstanding texture sheets, with expansion gap markings etc to cover the MDF & laserboard strips.

A single kit contains enough parts to build hardstanding for a 2 lane engine shed or traction maintenance depot with a width of up to 22mm either side of the outer tracks for the standard spacing version & 15mm either side for the streamline version. Spacing for the kits has been determined using Peco's N gauge track spacing tool.

Recommended glue: Deluxe Materials DLAD-87 Laser Cut Kit Glue for the main assembly. UHU or Pritt Stick for gluing the texture sheets to the strips.
