This laser cut Three Track Engine Shed kit in OO / 4mm scale will become the centrepiece of any model railway layout, making the perfect motive power depot for any layout set in the steam era onwards. Based upon the three lane engine shed at St Blazey in Cornwall but the design is generic enough to be used on layouts set all around the country.

Note: Picture show a pre-production model. Final changes have been made to brickwork & details. Slates and additional details for the roof vents are also included.

Designed for use with Hornby & Peco Set Track (57mm track centres)

A very straightforward kit to build but packed with loads of laser cut & engraved detail:

St Blazey WOW

I purchased one of these when we all had to stay home and bang pots and pans. No pans banged, I built one as the centerpiece of my urban, no countryside layout based in the North West of England (industrial). Surrounded by station, roads, large factories, 3 lanes of track, a high street and railway museum. Not exactly St Blazey Cornwall (?) or Great Western but this model is the undisputed WOW factor at the heart of my fully completed layout. This is the most asked about building on my layout and people are shocked when I tell them it is a laser cut MDF kit. Back then mine cost £100, now they cost £300 but if you are a serious builder the St Blazey is the biggest bang for your money you will ever get. Thank you Justin and your team for creating this masterpiece that is more than worth every £.

Three Track Engine Shed x 2

As just about the only 3 road shed available, I thought as I needed one desperately to model Reading South. I bought 2 and a through shed kit. Delivered in a reasonable time. So the build began and then faltered due to health conditions. During lockdown I restarted as I am sheilding. Iwas surprised at the excellent fit of all parts only needing a little filing to remove the tiny links to the holding sheet. the pictorial instructions were a joy to understand and many hours was enjoyably spent painting, modifying and assembling (finished pictures available). have now ordered some H frame and concrete hardstanding to mahe a floor and a lifting jib.

Wasn’t expecting the detail

I’ve bought a few items before but this was a major investment - and to say the quality of the shed and the detail was and is amazing. Glad I included the internal paper liners as this just makes it easy to adapt. The Mortice joints are individual brick sized and fit so well.
