N Gauge Terraced Houses Laser Cut Building Kit - UW2007-N - Scale Model Scenery

Product Description

This generic N gauge row of three terraced houses is based on the thousands and thousands to be found in most Midland and Northern cities. Designed to sit up against each other, each row of N scale houses can be set at the same floor level, or slightly raised or lowered to suit any gentle incline.

The kit is supplied with all the necessary doors and windows, roof panels, downspouts, outhouses with door and roof, and yard walls with rear gates and coping stones. One end yard is made without one side wall, allowing the next house or row to be placed alongside. This prevents having a double thickness wall between the yards. A final wall section is also included to finish off the yard at the end of the row.

The kit is straightforward to assemble. There are some small, delicate parts in the kit, so tweezers are definitely recommended. The laser cut doors, windows, guttering and downpipes will need painting with acrylic paints prior to assembly. Some of the larger unpainted parts can be easily coloured with a simple permanent marker.

We've rated this kit as Skill Level 3, as there are several small parts to fit. So not the easiest, but a good example to build a kit in 2mm / 1:148 scale.
