A pack of 4 laser cut & engraved Railway Platform Access Steps. These are often found at the ends of platforms which don't have end ramps. Suitable for use with platforms up to 19mm high. Photos above show them used with standard Hornby plastic platform.

Supplied as an unpainted, unassembled kit. You will need tweezers, a sharp craft knife and a fine tipped glue applicator to assemble. Can be painted with spray or brush acrylic paints.

Key Features:
  • Realistic laser engraved tread-plate pattern to the treads.
  • Perfect for any OO / 1:76 / 4mm model railway layout or diorama.
  • Manufactured from 0.8mm eco-friendly laserboard
  • We recommend painting or priming the parts before cutting from the sheets as the engraved tread-plate texture is delicate.
  • Dimensions (each staircase): L: 33mm x W: 13mm x H: 33mm

As Seen In...

Laser-cut railway platform steps praised for realistic detail and ease of assembly. Customers said "the tread detail is exquisite" and found them "easy to build, very realistic." Instructions help ensure best results. Good value addition to layouts, though care needed during construction.

Adds a nice touch

Take your time and follow instructions and it builds into a nice looking addition to the layout. I rushed the first one and spoilt it. Learning by my mistake, I prepared better, slowed down and the second attempt was really good.

So surprised by the quality

Thought they were going to be hard to construct, no problem encountered. Yet to paint but look really good as they are, if laser cutting is this good I’ll be buying lots of other things :-)

Superb little kits, the tread detail is exquisite and the kits build up beautifully
