Pavement cracks

Very useful to anyone wanting a main road on their layout. It takes the pain out of trying to model a pavement. Just tidy up the edges, prime, paint and glue in place. What could be simpler 😁

SMS Laser Cut Pavement

Great product! Robust, very easy to customise (I.e. converting to stone flags) and takes acrylic paints and washes beautifully. Thoroughly recommended

Excellent Product

Having tried various other types of paving, (plastic , cardboard etc) these laser cut MDF items are a class apart. They separate easily from the carrier, cut easily with a Stanley knife and take paint (acrylic) well. The joints are well defined and the corner pieces marry perfectly. Service was very fast. Would highly recommend.

MDF hmmm

I've always been sceptical about MDF, having seen too many cases of it warping, over time. I much prefer the stability of plastic for my scenery, largely because I only want to do it once, then get on with running trains. I went for this pavement, because it has a good thickness and it'll be stuck to 9mm ply using copious amounts of PVA, which will stop any warping (hopefully). I don't know what it's like to use, as it's only 2 days since I received the item and Christmas is getting in the way!

Excellent Product

Returning to model railways after a gap of 20 years finding this site has made me feel like a child in a sweet shop. There are so many great products available at affordable prices, easy to follow instructions and the finished product is excellent. The videos are very good too. Thank you.

Got these to have a practise

Been meaning to replace the Metcalfe footpaths that came with the terrace house/shops I built sometime ago, Ordered these and 90 degree corners to see if they were any good and how to stain/paint weather to look natural. Very impressed once I have perfected the look I want, I will be ordering more.

These pavement sections are another excellent idea just paint them and fix onto the layout, they look great kerbstones on the edge too! I'm replacing the inferior pavements i had with these on all the layout
