Add detail & realism to your quaysides, harbours, piers and coastal promenade scenes with our laser cut decorative railings. Each pack contains 62cm of railings, based on the railings around Mevagissey Harbour in Cornwall. Can also be used as railings around a park, garden, memorial etc.

Laser cut from 0.8mm laserboard with detailed decorative posts which look very realistic when painted and installed.

Wonderful railings

Having built a model harbour, I needed promenade railings like those seen at virtually every beach or harbour promenade in Britain. The railings obtained from Scale Model Scenery were absolutely perfect, but I found painting them rather difficult if not sprayed, as the material the railings are made from tends to separate very easily. The company’s customer support and help were invaluable and I only wish ALL businesses were as good and caring.

These are good, but unlike the dock steps, there is no tiny points at the bottom to help the barriers stay upright, which makes it difficult to keep straight. But they do look great when you’ve got it right.

Fantastic realistic Railings

Just been upgrading my harbour scene and needed to adopt a more Health and Safety approach. A visit to the Scale Model Scenery site offered me the very thing I was looking for Harbour/ Promenade Laser cut railings. When these arrived I was delighted how easy it was to cut the excellent and fine railings and once fitted a coat of silver then grey paint finished them off. It would be easy to use felt pen before fitting and you could colour them to your choice. I have taken two photo's to show how good this product looks. Happy modelling. DFS

Excellent detail

One thing I like about the laser cut products from Scale model scenery is the ease in which they can be removed from the main body of the sheet. The laser cuts are very precise and leave no faces that have to be cleaned up. Item is very delicate, but can be easily manipulated into shape if the need arises.
