A pack of laser cut OO scale 2m Palisade Security Fencing with point/arrow topped pales. A much easier to build version of our original LX017-OO Palisade Fencing with a wide range of uses on your model railway layout or 1:76 diecast diorama. Ideal for use around maintenance depots, industrial units, factories, waste land and general trackside use. Builds up to 116cm of fencing. This fence stands a scale 2 metres tall (26mm in OO gauge) and is flexible enough to be used around curved track & roads, yet sturdy enough when assembled to stand the test of time on your layout. Supplied pre-cut with 4 strips of fencing, plus separate parts for building up posts, rails and gates. Full instructions included. Can be painted using silver / grey artists acrylics or acrylics spray paints. Some experience assembling detailed card or plastic kits is essential when building this kit.

Good quality but incredibly fiddly

Realistic, but parts are incredibly small and fiddly to use. Furthermore there were not enough of one of the types of fence supports in the pack. As they are so tiny and there is a risk of cutting them wrongly, there should be some spares

seems flimsy but as layers are added becomes more rigid. found spraying the main fencing grey easier to help then position the uprights and horizontals. as to overall strength of product will be used on an exhibition layout

Excellent product, easy to assemble, use rocket glue for best results (tweezers help) and looks very realistic. After assembly I spray with grey primer then weather with powders. Scale model scenery always provide great service, delivery is very, very quick!

A quick way to build security fence but you do need to be rather accurate drilling the right size holes (and pitch) otherwise you may find an adhesive like PVA will de-laminate the post ends making insertion into the holes awkward. Best used on horizontal runs. A light painting with sky grey, combined with the colour of the card gets a faded and slightly rusty appearance. The choice of material colours for these kits is very good.
