Smart Mud is a malleable compound that allows modellers to quickly create high-definition diorama textures for model landscapes. It's quite simply mud for modellers!

Simple to use this single compound adheres well to a variety of baseboards and surfaces and once dry, Humbrol Smart Mud can be further painted weathered with acrylic paints and your favourite range of weathering powders.

Smart Mud is perfect for creating muddy fields and gateways, muddy tracks etc and can be easily shaped with simple sculpting tools, fingers or the wheels of a model vehicle to create tyre tracks.

How to use Humbrol Smart Mud For Diorama Textures

1. Take a piece of Smart Mud from the tub and press it firmly into place on your baseboard
2. Shape with fingers, sculpting tools, wheels, tyres & tracks
3. Allow to dry thoroughly; overnight ideally
4. Paint & weather with acrylic paints & your favourite weathering pigments as needed
