A 290mm strip of extra fine laser cut mesh for recreating safety mesh on bridges, windows and more. Featuring 0.3mm square holes, this is the finest mesh we've ever produced. It looks amazing sprayed in dark grey and overlayed on bridge railings etc to represent the mesh used to stop debris falling off motorway bridges onto the traffic underneath.

Very Fine Mesh! Verified Purchase

I was somewhat taken aback (in a good way) by the fine-ness of the mesh - it really is superb. I've used it on a scratchbuilt station footbridge over the tracks and platform - my only gripe (as such) is that I did not know that SMS also sell metal girders with rivets, as I need these to complete the bridge sides. (I found out by a general web search finding them). So, the girders will have to be added to my next purchase.

Extra fine mesh strip,perfect for not just railway modelling!

As a railway modeller and also 1.50th scale trucks,its sometimes a useful crossover. Recently whilst building a kit that fits behind the cab of heavy haulage units,I needed some fine mesh to make effectively a radiator grill. A piece of this strip worked really well to represent this as no other seems to be available or certainly anything that I could find. Very impressed with the result,no doubt will be used on other trucks and I'm sure on my railway as well! Highly recommended!
