Ratio 530 Oil Tanks Plastic Kit - OO/HO

Ratio 530 Oil Tanks: Essential Industrial Infrastructure

No steam-era locomotive depot, dockside, or modern industrial park is complete without fuel storage. The Ratio 530 Oil Tanks kit provides perfect, highly realistic lineside detail for your hungry diesel shunters, goods yard lorries, and local industries.

Authentic Detailing for Any Era

Supplied as an easy-to-build plastic assembly kit, this pack gives you two large, horizontal storage tanks mounted on sturdy brick-effect cradles. But it’s the included details that really bring the scene to life: the kit comes with a dedicated base, intricate pipework, and valve fittings, giving you a complete miniature installation straight out of the box. It is the perfect standalone feature or a brilliant expansion for the larger Ratio 529 Oil Depot.

A Weathering Enthusiast's Dream

In the real world, industrial oil tanks are rarely pristine. As an unpainted plastic kit, it's a fantastic blank canvas for your weathering skills. Paint them silver, industrial green, or rust-red, then go to town with enamel washes, weathering powders, and streaking grime to recreate the look of heavily used tanks with spilt fuel and rust creeping down the sides.
