KX091-OO Ultra-Low Relief Bonded Warehouse - OO/4mm/1:76

A versatile, ultra-low relief laser-cut bonded warehouse building kit for OO gauge model railway layouts and 1:76 scale diecast dioramas. Being just 6mm deep this building gives maximum impact in a very tight space.

Packed with realism including finely detailed, glazed windows, wall mounted hoists, pre-weathered exterior brick textures and optional ghost signs the KX091-OO Bonded Warehouse will look the part on any era model railway layout from the early 1900's through to present day. Modelled on a real-life warehouse on Limehouse Wharf in London, it offers you complete versatility as a modeller. Use it in its original form as a warehouse, or customise the interior and use it on a modern layout as executive apartments.

The kit is supplied with laser-cut parts for ease of assembly and the fully weathered paper wraps mean no additional painting or weathering is required for a "Realistically Better" finish to the walls and main building straight from the pack.

Doors & window frames do require painting before the kit is assembled which can be done with solvent or acrylic based paints. We used a simple matt black car spray for our test build which give it them a lovely weathered, industrial feel. For a more modern feel, use a gloss black or grey to represent a renovated building being used as apartments.

You can choose from plain weathered red & blue brick or add the optional ghost signs (included in the kit) for a unique finish for your layout. The hoists can also be assembled so that they can be moved & posed once assembled, giving scope for animation if so desired.
