Proved very good for chaining 4mm pipe loads for wagons to 3D printed pallet type frames. Soft and easy to cut with fine cutters, I think the links are of copper or soft brass. Cut shorter than required to go around the load, pull the ends together with fine black coloured copper jewellery makers wire (0.2mm/ 32 swg) under the pallet and twist the wire ends together to tension the chain, fiddly but effective and discrete.

A soft metal chain, not sure whether copper or brass, coloured a silvery grey, easily cut with fine cutters, proved good for chaining pipe loads for 4mm scale wagons. Ends joined with fine jewellers wire, approx 0.2mm diameter, whose ends were twisted together to tension the chain. Bought some more as you can use a lot of this on a freight biased railway.
