This versatile KX006-OO 7' Victorian Red Brick Lineside Weathered Wall - OO/4mm/1:76 is typical of those seen all around the UK. Kit comes pre-cut/laser-cut card base layers making construction on your model railway layout or dioramas a breeze! 

Featuring recessed brick panels, it's perfect for use as a perimeter wall around a factory, along the side of the railway track as it passes through residential areas, or even in urban town and city scenes. The kit is very easy to assemble and uses high-resolution, pre-weathered paper wraps over a series of 500gsm card layers, which leaves no unsightly cut card edges visible when construction is complete.

Over the past few years I have purchased several packs of the Victorian wall, there is very little to find fault with at this price level and quality. A couple of comments which people may find useful when assembling are: Step 2. says to cut along the grey crossed lines in the centre of the recessed panels before attaching to the base layer. I have found that it is better to do this from the back once the the paper wrap is attached, in some cases when pre-cutting the cuts are slightly out of register with the corners of the recesses in the base layer and then it is difficult to get a neat finish. Step 6. A better effect is achieved with the pillars if 2 pieces of base layer are glued together, however, if building a double sided wall the copings are barely wide enough to cover the width of wall created by doubling up the base layers. I tend to double up on the side facing the viewer and just use a single base layer on the less viewed side. These wall are really sturdy when assembled and look just how I remember them around loco sheds in the 60s
