Based on a universal stone humpback bridge design commonly seen through the UK on country lanes, minor roads, bridleways and paths, with beautifully curved walls and deck this humpback bridge kit is perfect for steam era and modern image layouts alike.

The bridge is very simple to construct with flexible MDF cores giving you prototypically correct curved walls (yes, they are very flexible and easy to shape, with no tools or sanding required) and full colour, photo-realistic stone texture wraps for an incredibly realistic appearance. Once constructed there are no visible & unsightly cut card or wood edges, which means this kit will look at home on a layout next to resin or card buildings.

The road bed supplied with the bridge extends approx 50mm from either side of the bridge to enable you to blend the bridge into your layout quickly and easily. Also included are additional strips of country road texture which can be used to extend the road sections further.

HAVING NEVER PUT A LASER CUT KIT TOGETHER BEFORE I COULD HAVE CHOSEN AN EASIER MODEL, AS THIS HAD ITS DIFFICUTIES WITH THE BENDS REQUIRED NEVERTHELESS IT EVENTUALLY WENT TOGETHER, ANY SMALL PROBLEM AREAS CAN BE EASLIY COVERED UP WITH GRASS,OR BUSHES WHEN AFFIXED TO THE SCENERY.

First model

This is my first ever laser cut model and used it (as I accidently ordered two!) as a training piece. For the most part it was straight forward but the lower inside arch was very awkward and I did manage to break a couple of slat ends off. Perhaps not the best model for a starter.

Still building this little beauty, it will form the entrance to a castle, but it is a joy and actually requires minimal glue it is so well engineered. Wonderful!!
