Instructions were clear and easy to follow and had choice of stone or brick finish. Windows can be a bit fiddly perhaps should have allowed more time for paint to dry before assembly. Roof was a dream to build.

The ability to build either left or right handed versions with a choice of stone or brick make this a versatile building. When completed it will be on a model bus diorama with lights in some rooms.

This is the second building I have purchased from SMS. I have only completed the shell of the building so far, other matters such as a large hole in the floor of my shower room taking precendence. The construction to this stage has been easy and the instructions are clear. Looking forward to sometime being able to finish it and it will take its' place alongside the barn I made earlier.

Good quality, assembled very well

This model should finish my farm very nicely, it is quite challenging to build this one because of the number of windows, but if you take your time then it will look fantastic. My only criticism is that’s my modelling knife, Swan, Morton, fitted with a number 11 blade is a bit thick to gently help the window frames from the ABS sheet. Pete, Willis

The quality and build of the kit is superb, these models really come to life when they are wrapped in the realistic building papers

A superb product. Easy to construct. I did deviate from the excellent instructions slightly to add that little bit extra - interior walls painted and carpet laid on the floor (both done before construction). The outside will be weathered to add more realism. This build has encouraged me to buy more from this company.

A lovely kit, a bit more complicated, suggest not the best for your first build, but not hard, just takes quite a while to build. Again altered by adding lettering to the front. Very pleased with the finished build.

Really enjoyed buliding this kit, the windows are a bit of a challenge but looks good when fitted. The only downside was the chimney pots the print bled with the glue so improvised with painted cotton buds cut to length. Overall it was nice to build

As usual a very well made and sturdy kit with very easy to follow instructions 👍🏻care is needed when assembling but the results speak for themselves…a brilliant addition to any model scene or railway

Well, my intention was to convert one of the cottages into a shop and cottage, then I saw the farmhouse and was most impressed. Both still in build so I can't yet say much about them, but the cottage conversion is coming along, and the farmhouse has just been started, but both are starting to look quite good. Fitting them together is quite simple and easy to do so farmhouse will be straight forward, and conversion to the cottages is coming along nicely. Photos will be taken and forwarded when completed.
