A laser-cut kit to builld two small lineside huts/sheds. The huts in this kit are essentially the same as the LX469-OO kit, but they come with paper wraps instead of engraved brickwork, giving you a pre-weathered and detailed finish straight from the packet. The only parts that need painting in this kit are the doors, windows & fascia boards.

These incredibly versatile buildings have a million and one uses on your OO gauge layout, from permanent way huts, to small stores or plant rooms for a factory / industrial scene, to weighbridge office.

The huts are straightforward to build and feature pre-weathered dirty red brick & stone paper wraps for a realistic finish straight from the packet, finely detailed windows, doors & fascia boards plus an optional base. Kit is made from MDF & laserboard making it easy to assemble and work with.

Windows & doors can be painted with acrylic paints. Requires assembly.

Tidy little hut

Very nice little hut. The only complaint is that there is no instruction as to when to apply the wrapping paper on the side panel. It would be nice if they could produce one with a chimney.

Go together quite well and make a pleasing scene filler.

Corners don’t line up very well and are rather uneven under the paper wrapping. I was a little apprehensive of filling and sanding such a small model, so disguised the corners painting them to represent blue engineering brick. Other than close inspection they will do the job.
