Based on a pair of real cottages in Grampound, close to our factory, these stone built cottages have that quintessentially English feel and will fit right in on your TT:120 gauge model railway layout.

This kit has lots of scope for kit-bashing too and is supplied with a white painted stone paper wraps for the walls plus laser-cut pre-weathered roof slates. We've also added super-realistic sash windows & wooden doors with easy-fit installation so you get lots of detail without having to struggle with tiny components.

Doors, window frames, guttering and chimney tops require painting before the kit is assembled which can be done with solvent or acrylic based paints. We actually used a black Sharpie to colour the guttering on our prototype and it works a treat.

Customers praised this TT:120 scale building kit for its quality and detailed finish. Most found it "easy to build" with clear instructions and excellent accuracy. However, some noted windows and doors are "very tight to fit" and fragile. A few felt it was expensive compared to alternatives. Overall "looks great" when completed.

Authentic looking model

Takes a bit of effort to put together, the windows are very fragile and a very tight fit into the openings and need some work on them to make them fit. Other than that it's a nice solid model that looks very good. Would highly recommend.

Great structure, good instructions not so good wraps - too small fold overs going to try paint instead of wrap

TT120 cottage

Easy to follow instructions. Superb accuracy. Even with the wrap around the windows and doors fitted perfectly in the recesses. I used my cottage terrace in reverse to make a public bar and a canal lock office. Really well made and very impressive when completed.

Super model

The instructions were basically clear, very little or no trimming of parts was necessary at all and everything just went together perfectly. A joy to build, thank you.
