KX074-OO "Dylington" Workers Cottages - OO/4mm/1:76

Based on a pair of real cottages not far from our HQ in Cornwall, these stone-built cottages have a quintessentially English feel... you can easily imagine entering the cosy living room through the front door, ducking to avoid the low, beamed ceiling. The roaring open fire and the smell of freshly baked scones coming from the kitchen!

This kit has lots of scope for kit-bashing too and is supplied with a choice of brick & white painted stone paper wraps for the walls plus laser-cut pre-weathered roof slates. We've also added super-realistic sash windows & wooden doors so you can really go to town customising this kit to fit perfectly into your layout.

Doors, window frames, guttering and chimney tops require painting before the kit is assembled which can be done with solvent or acrylic-based paints. We actually used a black Sharpie to colour the guttering on our prototype and it works a treat.
