KX074-OO "Dylington" Workers Cottages - OO/4mm/1:76

It was a nice kit and looks well when built.
I think the instruction were a little vague and the inner roof lines were not the same on front & back so the slates don't line up close to the chimneys on one side. I could not see where the little rectangles for the windows were meant to go so I left them off, fine without them.
Overall good kit.
A beginner would struggle with this but I have built a lot of kits like this.

Easy to build and with a few extras added looks great Not planted on layout at present

I found them easy to make up and not to expensive

Easy assembly until it comes to the windows which I found quite fiddly and you have to be very careful extracting the frames from the sheet because of they are quite delicate. but when completed it does make a fine looking model

Products are really well produced and accurately cut, which makes building easy and a great finish

It is versatile, with finish options. The windows are very difficult and time consuming.

Materials are very good quality

The kit is brilliant quality and very sturdy, but I found the windows very fiddly and flimsy. It was probably my relatively inexperienced modelling skillls and the wrong glue.....but overall very good

Its a well made and complete kit. I have not completed the build yet as railway modelling is a winter hobby in Canada, but when complete it will make be country cottages in a small village very similar to my grand-parents home in Worcestershire where I was born.

Easy to put together with two versions to wrap around your building widows are straight for ward to assemble and nice tight fit so have to be careful not to damage them the end result is a lovely cottage to grace your layout

A wonderful kit to build, millimetre-perfect every which-way. I bought two, and put my own exterior finish slant on one of them. Further order already in for different buildings and accessories. Justin, Tina and the whole team deserve every success - thank you one & all.

The roof tile strip as provided is too short - in release 2 just 5-10mm wider please !

easy to make up

Delighted when I first saw it as it looks so like the pub across the road from me I ordered one. Built as white cottage I decided I'd also like it in brick too so I've ordered a second. So delighted with it I might even order a third.

I've not finished it yet but from halfway through I know it's going to look good when I do finish it. I've not made a laser cut kit before and it's much easier to assemble than a plastic kit probably because the main assemblies are a lot thicker and fit together tightly with hardly any clean up of flash etc. I like to take time and not rush and so far it's been a very enjoyable experience. I will certainly be trying another product from Scale Model Scenery.

Easy to build and extremely realistic.

Still in build but so far I'm very impressed with it. When I first saw it I was immediately reminded of the pub almost opposite the blocks of flats I live in, and some of the older houses in the village.
