This Plan shows a built-up central area, with further scope for two separate industrial scenes. Inside the track loop can be quite intensively modelled, as the buildings and other scenery will help disguise the sharpness of the curves.
Running along the backscene is a main street in the town, so can be lined with low-relief buildings and walls to indicate a more populated area.
The suggested second backscene, for the new industrial area to the left of the plan, can also be dressed with ultra-low-relief buildings, or flat building images, to maximise the ground space.
Buildings Suggestions
This extended layout plan shows many more possibilities for a more urban scene. Several of our low-relief buildings, such as the KX049-OO GTC Engineering Works, will give a more industrial feel, whereas a row of terraced KX069-OO shops and KX070-OO cottages would blend into a more suburban area.
