The most striking features of this plan will be the Brunel Suspension bridge and the deep gorge it spans. More novice modellers may need support and advice when creating both these elements, but the techniques learnt here will prove invaluable for future layouts.
Although somewhat cramped and fictitious, the station sits on a tight curve leading back towards a hidden fiddle yard. The folded back backscene helps to separate the two sides of the layout, providing multiple views in a small area.
Buildings Suggestions
Apart from the station, and of course the bridge itself, there are few opportunities to add further buildings, although the smaller of the river bank areas could be modelled with the A4 Hotwells Road and some of the houses which appear further to the south.
Our curved platform kit LX414-OO can be used to replicate the platforms, and the two open corners of the baseboard could be used to add further structures if desired.
