Based on a pair of real cottages in Grampound, Cornwall, these quaint cottages have that quintessentially British feel... with low, beamed ceilings & sash windows.

This low-relief kit of the cottage backs has lots of scope for kit-bashing too and is supplied with a choice of brick & white painted stone paper wraps for the walls plus laser-cut pre-weathered roof slates. The full relief kit is available here: KX074-OO "Dylington" Workers Cottages - for this low relief kit we have sliced the full kit in half, with KX115 (front) & KX116 (back).

The windows and doors are assembled from layered components giving a superior, realistically better finish when compared to regular card kits.

Doors, window frames, guttering and chimney tops require painting before the kit is assembled which can be done with solvent or acrylic based paints. We actually used a black Sharpie to colour the guttering on our prototype and it works a treat.
