KX054-OO Tony's Cart Shed & Store - OO/4mm/1:76

A versatile cart shed / workshop building suitable for farm, coastal, railway or industrial use. The design is typical of many buildings of this type that can still be seen all over the British Isles and is supplied with a choice of white painted red brick & whitewashed stone walls. Both finishes feature plenty of weathering for a worn & well-used finish.

The roof uses our ever popular TX104 rusty black painted corrugated iron texture along with fully detailed interior walls for a superior standard of finish.

The kit is supplied with laser-cut parts for ease of assembly with no additional painting or weathering required for a "Realistically Better" finish straight from the pack apart from the windows, doors & laserboard parts, which can be quickly and easily painted & weathered with acrylic paints.

The building consists of two components: Workshop/Cart Shed with double sliding doors, small 9 pane window & side door. Doors can be posed open or closed. The store building is separate from the main building enabling you to position it wherever you wish in relation to the main building.

Doors & window frames require painting before the kit is assembled which can be done with solvent or acrylic based paints. We used a Plastikote matt black for our test build which we then dry-brushed with burnt umber, white & slate grey artists acrylics to create a weathered wood look.

Additional detail is then added to finish the building with downspouts & bargeboards.

There's also plenty of scope for customisation too... with a variety of addition detailing accessories included:
